Privacy
Privacy policy
This policy applies to the Android app Airsoft Match Planner (version 1.0.0) and the website airsoftmatchplanner.buzz. In short: the app stores everything only on your phone and sends nothing.
1. Contact
For privacy questions and access or deletion requests, write to [email protected]. This is the only contact address for support and privacy.
2. What data the app processes
The app processes only what you enter yourself: game days (name, date, venue, times, playing fields, fee per player, club rules, notes, tags), rounds (scenario, times, field, armband colours, status, result, notes), registered groups (group name, contact person, phone number, email address, number of players, armband colour, notes, whether a fee is noted as paid, check-in and check-out times and counts), your own scenarios, settings and the change history of each game day.
3. Stored only on your phone
All data is kept in the app’s private storage on your phone. There is no account, no server and no cloud sync, and Android cloud backup of the app’s data is switched off. The app has no internet permission and therefore cannot send data. We as the provider receive none of your data and can neither see nor restore it.
4. Export, sharing and backup
Data leaves the phone only when you do it yourself: you can share the programme of a game day as text or PDF and a backup of all data as a file through the Android share menu to an app of your choice, or save it in a folder you choose. What happens to these files afterwards is governed by the terms of that app or storage location. Contact details of groups appear in an export only if you switch on “Contact details”. When importing, the app reads a file you pick on the phone itself.
5. Data about other people
Group cards can contain names, phone numbers and email addresses of other people, for example the person who booked a group. They also stay only on your phone. Please record only what you need to organise the game day, and share such details only with people who need them, such as your marshals.
6. Calls, texts and emails
The call, text and email buttons on a group open your phone’s own phone, messages or mail app with the number or address filled in. The app itself does not place calls or send messages and has no permission to do so.
7. Permissions
The app asks for no permissions: no location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, access to photos or files, or notifications. Files are opened and saved only through Android’s own pickers.
8. No ads, no analytics, no tracking
The app contains no advertising, no analytics, crash reporting or tracking tools, no advertising ID and no in-app purchases. Fees in the app are notes for your own records; the app takes no payments.
9. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept until you delete it: single items in the app, everything under “More › Data and backup › Delete all data”, or by uninstalling the app. Exported files remain wherever you saved or sent them.
10. Website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party services; fonts and images are loaded from its own server. The server may keep technically necessary access logs (for example IP address, time, page requested) for a short time to run the site securely.
11. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. Because we receive no data from the app, you can exercise these rights directly in the app. For any request write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
12. Children
The app is meant for adults who organise club game days and is not directed at children.
13. Changes
If the way the app handles data changes, we will update this policy and publish the new version on this page.
Applies to version 1.0.0 of the app.
